A moving crack problem along the interface of two viscoelastic media

We study the problem of a semi infinite crack suddenly propagating along the interface of two viscoelastic media. The solution is given in a closed form and the analysis of the fracture of the interface is achieved with the help of the Griffith criterion. In particular we show the possibility of the existence of a final steady state propagation contrarly to the pure elastic case.
